Jo Ann Wipperfurth
Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), CEO


Ms. Jo Ann Wipperfurth owns and operates Pre-Emergency Planning, LLC. In the past, Ms. Wipperfurth served as the State of Wisconsin, Division of Emergency Management Exercise Training Officer, where she coordinated the State of Wisconsin's Preparedness Program. She was also a disaster assistance employee for the US Department of Homeland Security, Emergency Preparedness & Response Directorate, Federal Emergency Management Agency. She is recognized as a qualified instructor with the Office of Domestic Preparedness, Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), Incident Command System instruction and a FEMA recognized Master Exercise Practitioner.

 

Ms. Wipperfurth also brings experience as an Operations Manager for a hospital based Emergency Medical Services System. Her diverse background includes serving on a Level B Hazardous Materials team, certification as a Wisconsin Firefighter I, Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate, and being an adjunct faculty member in the Wisconsin Technical College System in First Responder and Basic Life Support Education.

 

Currently, Ms. Wipperfurth is a volunteer member of the Southwest Wisconsin Incident Management Team, holds membership with the International Association of Emergency Managers, serves as an advisory member of Herzing University, recognized as a Certified Emergency Manager Level Four in Wisconsin and holds a degree in Management and Communication from Concordia University.





Melissa Waller
Operations Manager


Ms. Melissa Waller serves as the Operations Manager for Pre-Emergency Planning, LLC. She has served as the Dane County Long Term Care Emergency Preparedness/Medical Surge Liaison, assisting facilities with their emergency preparedness plans and development of the County Surge Plan. She has worked extensively with long term care providers and hospitals conducting multiple exercises and training sessions. Melissa offers exceptional experience in customer service, project management and computer programs.
